Christopher Fredette - Author
Dr. Christopher Fredette is a professor of management and strategy with the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business. Chris is an active researcher in the nonprofit sector, focusing on boards of directors and the role of power, diversity, and inclusion in shaping change in governance and leadership effectiveness. Chris’s contributions to scholarship are deeply intertwined with action, practice, and reflection.
He brings a lifetime of first-hand experience as a first-generation scholar and more than a decade of dedicated research to understanding how nonprofit sector leadership and governance can meaningfully engage and actively improve our communities in our most vulnerable times. Whether in his own board membership, his organized labour leadership, or in his research contributions published in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Nonprofit Management and Leadership, and Nonprofit Quarterly, among others, he works to make progress toward social justice.
