Dale Larsen - Author

Dale Larsen is Professor of Practice, Honor’s Faculty and Director of Community Relations & Engagement for the Arizona State University - Watts College for Public Service & Community Solutions. Formerly the Assistant Director and Director of the City of Phoenix, AZ Parks and Recreation Department, Dale has more than 40 years of service in the field. He is the current Chairman of the Arizona State Parks Board, member of the City Parks Alliance Advocacy Committee, and a Board member of the White Tank Mountains Conservancy.

He is an active member of the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association and the National Recreation and Parks Association. He is former President of the American Academy for Parks and Recreation Administration and chair of the Commission on Accreditation for Parks and Recreation. Dale is frequently called upon to provide opinions and thoughts on a variety of issues affecting public parks, recreation, and conservation services. 

Dale has been married to is bride Christine for 50+ years. They are proud parents and grandparents.
