Frank Radja was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.
He attended Holy Trinity High School and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).
He graduated from Cook County Hospital’s Orthopaedic Technician Training Program in 1979.
He served as director of the Orthopaedic Technician Training Program for 23 years.
He served on the board of directors of the Orthopaedic Technologists Association of Illinois from 1981 until the present.
He has been an active member in the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologists since 1980.
In 2002, he was inducted into the Honor Society of the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologists.
He also began employment at UIC as an Orthopaedic Technologist in 2002 and continues to work there today.
