H. Ken Cordell - Author
H. Ken Cordell began as a research assistant at the Southeastern Forest Experiment Station in Asheville, North Carolina, from 1966-1967 and was promoted to research social scientist in 1967.
From 1971-1976, he was coordinator of research and on the faculty of recreation economics at North Carolina State University. In 1976, he came back to the Forest Service as a project leader in Clemson, South Carolina.
A year later, he was asked to become project leader in Athens, Georgia, and has been in Athens since that move in 1977.
