Heather L. Carpenter - Author

Dr. Heather Carpenter is Interim Executive Director of the Institute for Nonprofit Administration and Research, and the Director of the Master of Science in Nonprofit Administration program. at LSUS She holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies with an emphasis on Nonprofit and Philanthropic Leadership from the University of San Diego, and a Master of Management in Nonprofit Administration from North Park University in Chicago, Illinois.

She is the co-author of Nonprofit Crisis Management: Response to COVID-19 and The Talent Development Platform: Putting People First in Social Change Organizations as well as co-editor of the Teaching Nonprofit Management textbook. Dr. Carpenter also serves as Board Treasurer for the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council and is incoming co-editor of the Journal of Nonprofit Education and Leadership.
