Ingrid E. Schneider - Author

Ingrid Schneider is a professor in the Department of Forest Resources at the University of Minnesota, where she teaches in the Park and Protected Area concentration.

She received her bachelor’s and master’s from the University of Minnesota and her PhD from Clemson University.

Beyond diversity, Schneider’s research interests include visitor behavior, recreation conflict, and sustainable nature-based tourism.

Schneider’s professional experience includes the service industry, lodging sector, and as an outdoor recreation planner. She seeks life balance through family events, yoga, hiking, reading, attending movies, and cooking.
