Kate Price-Howard is an associate professor for Troy University for the School of Hospitality, Sport and Tourism Management within the Sorrell College of Business and has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 35 years.
Her work during these years was primarily at resort and property management companies, but also included academia, cruise ships, summer camps and recreation therapy.
She has experientially taught commercial recreation to college juniors and seniors in an internship setting as an agency supervisor for her own company, Go Play, Inc., since 2001.
She is a board member of SECSA (Southeast, Central $ South America Federation of ICHRIE), and a current member of Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, and Resort and Commercial Recreation Association, and recently became an editor for the Journal of Tourism Insights.
