Kenneth E. Mobily- Author

The late Dr. Kenneth E. Mobily, CTRS, CPRP (September 15, 1950 - December 30, 2022) taught at the University of Iowa.

His research interests included ethics, exercise for persons with disabilities, especially strength training and fall prevention among older adults, as well as intersections between leisure studies and disability studies. 

Dr. Mobily published articles in the American Journal of Recreation Therapy, Annual in Therapeutic Recreation, World Leisure Journal, and Therapeutic Recreation Journal. 

 He co-authored several books including: Therapeutic Recreation and the Nature of Disabilities, Introduction to Therapeutic Recreation: U.S. and Canadian Perspectives, and Underground and Hidden Histories in Leisure Services.
