Matthew Brownlee is an assistant professor in the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism at the University of Utah.

His research interests are focused on visitor management in parks and protected areas, the impact of climate change on outdoor recreation environments and experiences, and the health-promoting properties of nature-based recreation.
