Rochelle Eime - Author

Rochelle Eime is a behavioural epidemiologist who has over 10 years of research experience specifically relating to the sport and recreation sectors relating to both public health and sport management.

She leads the development of Sport and Recreation Spatial (www.sportandrecreationspatial.com.au), which focuses on investigating sport and recreation participation, facilities, and health for evidence-based decision making. This includes a geographical information system (GIS) for presenting spatial data relevant to all levels of the sport and recreation sector.

This will provide the sport and recreation sector with increased capacity for research, strategic planning, and development of participation programs and facilities.

Eime has strong industry networks, including state and national government agencies such as the Australian Sports Commission, VicHealth, Sport and Recreation Victoria, a range of state and national sporting organisations, and the Mitchell Institute.
