Rosangela K. Boyd - Author

Rosangela K. Boyd joined Texas Christian University in October of 2006. Prior to joining TCU, she implemented various national and international service-learning projects as a faculty member in the College of Health Professions and the director of personnel preparation at the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University.

She is a native of Brazil, where she majored in special education and English. Her master’s degree and PhD are both from Clemson University in counseling and guidance/higher education and therapeutic recreation, respectively.

Aside from community engagement, her areas of expertise include disabilities, aging, health promotion, international studies, and multicultural education.
