Rosemary Black - Author

Rosemary Black is an associate professor at Charles Sturt University.

Her teaching and research interests focus on tour guiding, ecotourism, environmental interpretation, adventure tourism, outdoor recreation, and social dimensions of natural resource management.

Most of her research is applied and is undertaken in partnership with industry associations, protected-area managers, and communities.

Prior to being an academic, Black worked in the fields of adventure tourism, protected area management, and recreation planning.

She serves on the boards of Guiding Organisations Australia and Interpretation Australia.
