Rosemary Dunne - Author
Rosemary Dunne is a Vancouver-based recreation therapist and Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA) with a master’s degree in health leadership and policy: senior’s care. She is the assistant executive director and director of lifestyles and therapeutic services at a local Vancouver, British Columbia, complex care home. The author of Discovering Adventure in Special Care, Sharing the Magic, Moments: From Extravagant Programs to Extraordinary Moments, and Dementia Care Programming: An Identity-Focused Approach, she has passionately been voicing and leading compassionate care initiatives for over 30 years in support of seniors and individuals living with dementia.
She has a keen interest in writing fiction as a hobby and hopes to publish her YA fantasy fiction piece Kingdom Keeper in the next year. Rosemary lives on the Fraser River in New Westminster, British Columbia, in what she calls her little bit of paradise with her partner and their pets, a mini Australian Shepherd and a Bengal/Tabby cat, where life is just plain good!
