The third edition of Facilitation Techniques in Therapeutic explores facilitation techniques in therapeutic recreation (TR). It gives TR specialists information on interventions to promote physical activity and fitness, techniques to address challenges to emotional expression and control, mindfulness and stress management, and educational and adaption strategies. Although not exhaustive in its coverage of facilitation techniques, this edition includes many techniques that the authors implemented while delivering TR services.
