Leisure, Women, and Gender
Leisure, Women, and Gender explores and elaborates on issues of leisure for girls and women. It presents a critical analysis of the research to date and proposes directions for the future study of leisure, women, and gender.
The contributors share how they came to study leisure, women, and gender; talk about what they have learned from their research; and reflect on directions for future research.
In addition to teaching at the higher education level, the editors and contributors have an array of research interests such as social problems, social inclusion in leisure and sport, leisure of disenfranchised groups, and gender and diversity.
