Professional Issues in Therapeutic Recreation: On Competencies and Outcomes (3rd ed.) explores some of the issues related to professional competence and quality service delivery. This book offers an introduction, including on competencies and outcoming and on the World Health Organization’s International Classification system. It also examines education issues, such as online learning and teaching. Practice issues, such as evidence-based practice, are also discussed. It also offers research issues, such as research as a participatory process.
