The editors have been involved in the study of leisure for a combined total of over 70 years. The contributors have served professional organizations such as the World Leisure Organization, the Academy of Leisure Sciences, the United Games International Organization, International Society for Eastern Sports and Physical Education, and Leisure and Recreation Association of South Africa, among others.
